Calamigos December Wedding

Pinecone Themed Wedding
Calamigos Ranch
December 2011

Last wedding cake of 2011

The pine cone wedding cake followed the theme of the wedding.

This beautiful brides bouquet was created by Debbie of Floral Fields.  Loved how she incorporated the Pine Cone Theme.

The ceremony site outside of the main dining room at Calamigos Ranch was decked out for the season with fresh Pine Cone garland.  Debbie of Floral Fields is so creative!

Each table was adorned with large glass candle holders and wooden reeds for a winter wonderland theme.

Timmy the Gnome has been brought back to life in the form of Cake.  The groom took the original Gnome when he was deployed to Afghanistan.
Unfortunately Timmy had a casualty while deployed :(

Best Wishes to Talia & Chris!

Calamigos Ranch Wedding

Saturday, November 5, 2011
Calamigos Ranch

In between two days of sprinkles, the sun was out in full force on Saturday, just in time for a beautiful wedding.

Monica and Greg were married today, though a bit chilly out during the ceremony, inside the fireplace was blazing and the atmosphere was festive.

The wedding cake was stenciled with delicate flowers and appliqued fondant striping adorned the wedding cake created by Pastries By Vreeke.

The ceremony site at the main area of Calamigos was adorned with beautiful flowers, oh so pretty!

Bubbles were supplied to the guest to blow after the ceremony.

The dining room was decked out with purple tablecloths and beautiful flowers created by Flower Allie.

Congratulations to Monica & Greg

Sherwood Country Club Wedding

Sherwood Country Club
October 2011

Wedding Cake complete with sugar Army Musket Pistols

Note from the bride:
Peter and I went to numerous bakeries before we had our appointment with Lori. When we met with Lori, we knew she was "the one". We didn't have any idea how we wanted our cake. Based on a couple questions Lori had asked us,  Lori mocked up a design and we LOVED it.  To top it off, we loved how her cake tasted.  Our wedding cake was simple, yet unique and that's exactly what we wanted. We can't wait to use Lori for our future family events.

The bridal party taking advantage of a beautiful day at Sherwood, taking some fotos.

It's hard to beat the view out the back windows of the dining room at Sherwood Country Club.
The world renown course designed by Jack Nicklaus, home to some of the worlds best gold tournaments is host to many weddings each year.

Congratulations Cherry & Peter

Hearst Castle - Casa Del Sol

Michael proposed to Tatiana in front of Casa Del Sol at Hearst Castle, California, so of course a Hearst Castle wedding cake was perfect way to start their new lives as Husband and Wife.

Hearst Castle is located overlooking the Pacific Ocean in San Luis Obisbo County owned by William Randolf Hearst.  After 25 years of construction, the castle was ready in 1947.  The castle grounds encompasses 250,000 acres, complete with it's own zoo, 2 pools, and three guest houses.

Hearst Castle has been host to many well known guests such as Winston Churchill, Charles Lindbergh, Howard Hughes, Charlie Chaplin, Cary Grant and Carole Lombard to name a few.

Here is my edible adaptation of Casa Del Sol of Hearst Castle.

Note from the bride:
Lori, You are incredible and the cake was amazing. I could not believe the details!!! Everyone loved it as did Michael and I. It was perfect and wonderful and I really hated to have to cut through it! Thanks so much for all your hard work in putting that cake together for us :)     *Tatiana*
