Red Roses signify LOVE and this wedding had a lot of it!

Another Beautiful wedding held at Spanish Hills Country Club

Beautiful fondant covered cake with stenciled swirls, crystal bands around base of each tier, fresh red roses cascading from top all atop a very sparkly crystal cake stand.

Violet themed wedding at Spanish Hills Country Club

Cutest little bird topper!

The background of this cake was sponge painted with edible pedal dust to match the theme of the wedding coloring.

Note from the bride:

Daniel and I selected Lori as our cake designer based on her beautiful work, diverse talents and delectable cakes! We knew that we wanted to incorporate color and texture into our cake without overshadowing our cake topper and Lori delivered on all of our wishes! All of our guests were stunned by the magnificence of our cake which truly captured our vision and was so uniquely "us." Thank you to Lori and her team for their hard work! We sincerely appreciate it and loved our cake!

White Wedding

Beautiful White Travel Themed Wedding Cake

Beautiful White Themed Travel Wedding Cake delivered to Spanish Hills Country Club.

Each tier was decorated a bit different but always sticking to the white theme.

Sugar Monogram, Sugar Appliqued Lace and pleated Pin-Tuck design

The top tier was a sculpted make up case with luggage tags, pearl necklace, mini photographs of the bride and groom, Coach flower and more.

The top tier was sculpted vintage luggage covered with vintage travel stickers from past trips the bride and groom have taken together. Coming out of the luggage was a favorite Harry Potter book, a passport, tie, sock and pocket watch.

Spanish Hills Country Club has beautiful crystal chandeliers in the dinning room.

The white rose centerpieces with hanging crystals accentuated each table,.

Even the napkins had a travel themed, wrapped in customized luggage tags for each guest.

Most Beautiful Cakes of 2012

Pastries By Vreeke created some beautiful wedding cakes in 2012.

It was hard to decide which ones were our favorites.

We created a lot of really large cakes this year adorned with beautiful fresh flowers.

Lace Applique Cake with Sugar Bow and Broach

Another Lace Applique Cakes were very popular in 2012. This one was wrapped in a fondant wrap with sugar monogram.

This lace applique cake and bows was designed to match the brides wedding dress

Another popular cake design in 2012 was designed around a crystal cake stand and crystal spacer.

This cake was delivered to Spanish Hills Country Club

Loved the fresh flower swag on this 5 tiered wedding cake.

Fun peach colored ruffle cake, complete with sugar appliques and fun fantasy flowers!

We all loved how sweet this cake turned out. The vines, the stenciling and the pin-tuck pattern were a perfect fit for this bride.

The cake isn't so beautiful, but Jennifer Lopez sure is!

The cake was a replica of Jennifer Lopez' Glowing Perfume.

Can't tell by this picture but the cake glowed under to cap on top and under the bottom onto the base.

This replica of Jennifer Lopez' new perfume Glowing was one of the highlights this year.

We were lucky enough to be asked to create it and even luckier when we presented to her at the Bel Air Hotel.

She is ever so beautiful in person and a very nice person. I even received a very heartfelt thank you from her :)

Beautiful violet themed wedding for a beautiful couple!

Loved this family! It is always such a pleasure to create a wedding cake when the family is so friendly and appreciative. Thank you to the entire Farrah family!

Created this cake around one of my favorite crystal cake stand and spacer.

To keep with the crystal theme, some tiers were covered in edible crystal flakes and edible silver balls.

I just wanted to say THANK YOUUUUUU SOOOOOO much for my amazing wedding cake...OMG it was gorgeous...I still can't get over it! The candy buffet was also so sweet and adorable. I loved the guest cards with the rock candy (cutest idea, which went perfectly with the theme of the wedding). You were a HUGE part in why my wedding was so special and Jake and I are so grateful for all the work you put in. So happy I made it to your blog!! Can't wait to get MANY MANY more cakes from you in the future! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

Even the grooms men enjoyed relaxing and watching as we set up the cake.

The florist did an amazing job on all the floral decorations.

The ceremony site at Spanish Hills Country Club was beautiful.

The tables were decked out with more crystals on the menu cards and napkin rings.

The candy buffet supplied by Pastries By Vreeke in shades of violet, pink and blue to coordinate with the colors of the reception.

Two Fun Candy Buffets

One day, one location, one Bar Mitzvah, one Bat Mitzvah!

Our first Candy Buffet for a lovely afternoon Bar Mitzvah at Spanish Hills Country Club.

Arrived at 9:00am to set up Nathan's Candy Buffet with a rainbow colored buffet.

Then back at 3:00pm to take down Nathan's buffet and set up Blair's Bat Mitzvah Buffet. Blair had a beautiful color scheme of pinks, oranges and browns.
